Baltimore is beautiful when the cherry blossoms bloom at Fort McHenry, but spring also brings a few "itchies" and "ouchies" for our furry friends.

Before you head out to enjoy the Maryland sunshine, keep these safety tips in mind:

  • Watch the Garden: Common spring flowers like tulips, daffodils, and azaleas are toxic if your curious pup decides to have a snack.

  • The "Itchy" Season: Just like us, dogs get seasonal allergies. If you notice excessive licking or red paws, it might be time for a soothing oatmeal bath or a chat with a vet about allergy relief.

  • Tick Talk: Ticks are officially active in Maryland. Always check your dog’s fur after walks in tall grass or wooded areas.

A quick visit to our spa for a Paw-dicure and a thorough cleaning can help wash away pollen and irritants before they ever reach your living room rug.
