We are definitely the second kind.

We're expecting some serious contenders, some hilarious costumes, and probably at least one dog who looks at us like, "Mom. Dad. Why have you done this to me?"

🐾 Why Your Dog Will Love Halloween Daycare

Halloween isn't just fun for us humans. Dogs love having opportunities to play, socialize, explore, and burn off some of that extra energy.

At Downtown Dog Resort, dogs are grouped with other pups based on factors like size, personality, energy level, and play style. Our daycare is designed around supervised play, exercise, socialization, and plenty of fun.

Which means your pup gets to spend the day doing what dogs do best:

Play. Make friends. Sniff everything. Get a little silly. Take a break. Repeat.

And then they can come home happily tired.

🎃 A Few Costume Tips From Your Dog's Besties

We love a good costume, but your pup's comfort comes first!

Try to choose something that:

• Allows your dog to walk, run, sit, and play comfortably

• Doesn't cover their eyes, nose, or ears

• Doesn't restrict breathing or movement

• Doesn't have small pieces they could chew or swallow

• Fits securely without being too tight

• Your dog actually tolerates wearing

And if your dog absolutely HATES costumes?

That's okay!

We still love their adorable little face exactly as it is.
